Roger Jackson is a composer whose work ranges from rock music to commercials to operatic dramas and animation.

He toured with 10cc’s Graham Gouldman and Andrew Gold, was a member of Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptians and has worked as producer, session player and arranger for many top acts. He even ran his own music festival in the village of Bishopstone where he started the idea of the instant choir - one hour to learn and perform a song in harmony.

More recently Roger started Sing! a concept choir which anyone can join. Roger has a passion for harmony singing and creates arrangements with very approachable parts which blossom into impressive performances.

As one the country’s top community choir leaders Roger is a regular leader at the Community Choirs Festival in Stratford and the Chiltern Choirs Festival, and directs the Fabulous Festival Choir at Towersey Festival. He is always keen to get men singing, and leads workshops at “Blokefest” and “Singing in the Shed” as well as writing songs which have become a firm part of the mansinging repertoire.

Roger is a fan of Americana and Bluegrass music, and plays mandolin and guitar with his trio “BlueJay”.
He has taught at the UK’s foremost Bluegrass Summer school “Sore Fingers” and leads workshops at
many Bluegrass events too.
