Our Chalet manager writes: The building where you'll spend most of your time is reasonably accessible and general suitable for people with reduced mobility who use a walking aid or a manual wheelchair. Unfortunately, there is very limited access for mobility scooter and powered wheelchair users, unless they are able to walk a short distance or transfer to their own manual wheelchair (we do not have any wheelchair available to borrow). We have a platform lift up to the bedroom level and there is a bathroom with a level entry (not roll in) shower with a shower seat and hand rails. There is a roll in shower on the ground floor of Main Chalet.
Main Chalet is older and much less accessible. It is possible to access the ground floor (T-bar, laundry room, toilets and showers), although there is a tight turn to enter the laundry room. There is also external ramp access to the first floor (dining room and lounge areas) but the ramp is less than ideal and there is an area of stone/gravel surface to cross to get to the ramp plus a steep external walkway, which is narrow and difficult to access when there is snow. We have limited, free parking available and those with limited mobility can park between the two main buildings on a level car park.
As we have to commit to our considerable overheads we can't offer a full refund after a certain date. We hope you won't find this policy unreasonable.
If you cancel your booking up to 75 days before the event start: 75% refund
If you cancel your booking between 75 and 40 days before the event start: 50% refund
If you cancel your booking after 40 days before the event start and we are able to fill the space with another person, we will refund 50% of your payment. If your place is not filled, no refund.
If the event cannot take place due to Covid for example, it will be postponed and your ticket will be valid for the future dates. In that situation, if you are unable to make the future dates, you will be entitled to a full refund.
We highly recommend that you organise your own travel insurance, offering cancellation cover.

If you're travelling from UK, Fly to Zurich. The airport train station is on the lowest level, and here you buy a ticket all the way to Adelboden (even includes the final bus ride). Trains run about once an hour, and depending which one you get, you change at Bern or Spiez (pron. "Shpee-etz" The connecting train takes you to Frütigen where the bus outside the station will take you up the mountain. Ask the driver for Oey stop (pron. "O-way").
"Our Chalet" is about 25 mins walk from the bus stop. You could try hitching (there might be other participants passing) or call a taxi and ask for "Our Chalet":
